Instructions for Performing the Corona Rapid Test:

The designated employee's Corona rapid test was performed using a test from GP Getein Biotech, Inc. – specifically, the "One Step Test for SARS". The rapid tests are CE-marked. This test is an in-vitro diagnostic device that may also be used by laypersons or private individuals. The test serves for the direct and qualitative detection of SARS-CoV-2 (coronavirus) antigens.

Rapid tests and self-tests are types of antigen tests. They detect
protein structures of the coronavirus. For this, a swab is taken from the nasopharyngeal area and, together with a liquid, applied to a test strip. This strip reacts to protein components of the virus and indicates this with a color change. Antigen tests are also referred to as PoC (Point-of-care) antigen tests and display results after 15 to 30 minutes.

For example, a coronavirus infection may be present at the time of the swab. However, the swab area may not yet be, or no longer be, directly affected by the viral load at that time. Therefore, a test using a swab cannot definitively rule out a coronavirus infection with 100% certainty. The test merely serves to assess the risk of being infected with coronaviruses. 

Thus, even with a negative test result, the tested employee could be an infectious carrier of a coronavirus infection. Therefore, we cannot assume any liability or responsibility regarding the persistence of infection chains caused by the employee we have designated.

A positive test result, whether from an antigen rapid test or a PCR test, must and will be reported by us to the responsible health authority.

The test was performed as a self-test under the supervision of an authorized employee of BTS Logistik GmbH. This is a rapid test, which yielded a negative result at the time of inspection. BTS Logistik GmbH assumes no liability for this!
