Demand is increasing, and with the company's growth, so does the need for additional vehicles. The fleet expands its number of trucks to 45 units. To optimize transport operations, a digital driver cockpit is introduced, along with the addition of a tracking and telematics tool.
To open up further business segments, BTS Logistik acquires Walter Dähling Möbelspedition und Güterfernverkehr GmbH. The headquarters are relocated from Hamburg to Börnsen, and the company is renamed Walter Dähling Spedition GmbH.
At the turn of the year, 100 new jumbo swap bodies are put into service. This increases the total inventory to 350 units.
The Melle branch is bursting at the seams, so the location is moved to a larger warehouse with 4,000 m² of space on Spenger Straße. This proactively addresses the expanded order situation. With the completion of section 1, a racking system with 1,100 storage locations was added.
Following the relocation of operations, the registered office of Walter Dähling Spedition GmbH also moves and is relocated to Melle.
